Romans, countrymen

Brutus Vs Antony

O, What a tragedy

Those once sharing the same dais
turned against each other
for one supported his King, and the other feared his King would become a King

"Et tu, Brute! Then fall, Caesar"
And he fell

O, What a tragedy

Soaked his hands and Sword in blood
Brutus walked
And addressed Romans, countrymen, and lovers

"Not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved
Rome more. Had you rather Caesar were living and
die all slaves, than that Caesar were dead, to live
all free men?"

Antony, noble and bound
not to proclaim honorable Brutus a traitor, begged

"Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;"

"I thrice presented him a kingly crown,
Which he did thrice refuse: was this ambition?
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And, sure, he is an honorable man. "

"I come not, friends, to steal away your hearts:
I am no orator, as Brutus is..."

The praises for Brutus died
and they wept for the fallen Ceaser

O, What a tragedy

Mob drove him out
and Brutus did battle

And when in the battle Brutus did fall
as Ceaser's ghost had told him so
Antony kissed him and said

"This was the noblest Roman of them all:
All the conspirators save only he
Did that they did in envy of great Caesar;"

O, What a tragedy
O, What a tragedy
